Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between static and dynamic URL QRs?

Static: the URL is encoded in the image. Editing the destination requires reprinting. Dynamic: the QR points at qrlia, which forwards to the latest URL — change destination any time without reprinting. qrlia defaults to dynamic so you can update later.

Will the QR keep working forever?

Yes as long as your qrlia workspace exists. We've never deprecated a redirect endpoint and don't plan to.

Can I add UTM parameters?

Yes — qrlia auto-appends UTM tags to the destination so Google Analytics correctly attributes the scan to the QR.

How accurate is the location data?

City-level via standard IP geolocation. Country accuracy is ~99%; city ~80%. We don't fingerprint or de-anonymise.

Can the QR expire?

Pro lets you set a start + end date. Outside the window, scanners see a friendly 'campaign ended' page.
